Born May 9, 1979, Rosario Isabel Dawson is a Hollywood actress, writer, and singer. She starred in various films like "Men in Black II", "Sin City", "Kids", "The Rundown", "Rent", "Seven Pounds", "Death Proof", "Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief", "25th Hour" and more.

Dawson was born in the city of New York. Her parents were only 15 years old when Dawson was born. She is a daughter of a Puerto Rican plumber named Isabel and a Native American construction worker named Greg Dawson. She has one brother named Clay. While Dawson was still young, her parents got divorced.

As a child, Dawson had brief appearance in Sesame Street. At 15, she was discovered by Harmony Korine and Larry Clark and made her first film through "Kids", which was released in 1995.
